Polyurethane Wheels
Polyurethane wheels are known for their noiseless, corrosion-free, and heavy-duty properties. Iron cast with a high-density polyurethane thread makes poly caster wheels the most rigorous, heavy-duty, and low-wear option in the entire caster industry. Unlike iron cast or steel cast wheels, polyurethane wheels don’t leave any mark on floorings, reducing the overall renovation costs.
As compared to rubber, polyurethane has a higher weight carrying capacity and the wear and tear is also insignificant.
Reaction Industries (RI)’s polyurethane wheels are specially molded to withstand heavy weights for a longer lifetime. Our polyurethane wheels with high-density thick tread are durable enough to bear the mammoth weight of a whopping 11,000 lbs.
With decades of experience in polyurethane processing, we have been able to produce polyurethane wheels that are; highly noiseless, smooth rotation, and have excellent traction to reduce push-pull force.
Reaction Industries (RI) has an in-house polyurethane processing facility making it one of the highest-quality polyurethane wheels manufacturers in the USA.
The in-house production capability allows us to cater to highly customized and flexible tread formulations to get you the quality you need. These formulations are designed to help with ergonomics, high-speed powered applications, harsh environments, chemicals, moisture, and many more challenges based on your specific needs. Being a manufacturer of poly wheels, our turnaround time is way faster than any other polyurethane wheel manufacturer.
Polyurethane wheels aren’t just used to maneuver heavy machinery or industrial carts, their rigidness and durability properties have made their way into every other industry. Our polyurethane wheels are widely used in industries like; automotive, manufacturing, AVGs, maritime, aerospace, and so on. Even theme parks use RI’s polyurethane wheels in different rides where noise reduction and safety are a priority.

FAQs
Are polyurethane wheels good for outdoor use?
RI’s polyurethane wheels are highly durable even in outdoor usability. That’s one of the major reasons that poly wheels are widely used in automotive, manufacturing, AVGs, maritime, and aerospace industries.
How long do polyurethane wheels last?
RI polyurethane wheels are known for their high resilience and long life. In normal conditions, our polywheels can work for more than a decade.
How polyurethane wheels are manufactured?
The process starts with the heating of Isocyanate and curative (at 180-250°F) separately. They are then mixed in controlled quantities and poured into metal molds. A catalyst is added to enhance material properties and then the molds are placed in the oven for processing and then curing. The whole process takes up to 16 hours.
How I can place my manufacturing order?
You can order your polyurethane rollers by filling up our “Get a Quote” form or by simply calling our sales representative.
Do you offer customized formulation?
With an in-house polyurethane processing facility, we do cater to custom formulation requirements to enhance various properties such as toughness, impact resistance, etc.
